EuFoA discusses EU-Armenia relations in Yerevan: "An EU in change: what effects on relations with Armenia?"
Today EuFoA participated in a conference in Yerevan, organised by the International Centre of Human Development, Armenia, and sponsored by the British Council, Armenia. PanArmenian.net and Mediamax report on the conference; we include both articles below.
During the conference EuFoA presented a paper entitled 'An EU in change: What effects on relations with Armenia?'. This was accompanied by keynote addresses from Secretary General Dr Michael Kambeck and Senior Research Fellow Dr Sargis Ghazaryan, and with the Director of EuFoA'S Yerevan branch, Mr Hovhannes Grigoryan, as moderator. The paper offers an analysis of the recent and upcoming internal changes within the EU institutions, and explores their implications for EU-Armenia relations.

Yerevan, July 14 /PanARMENIAN.Net/ An international conference on European integration process opened in Yerevan today. The participants discussed new challenges in the light of latest regional developments.
The conference is held in collaboration with European Friends of Armenia NGO, British Council, Migration Agency at the RA Ministry of Transport and Communications and some other organizations.
"EU-Armenia: Are There Grounds for Progress in Euro-Integration Process"
Yerevan, July 14 /Mediamax/ Internal political processes in the European Union (EU) cannot have negative influence on deepening cooperation between Armenia and EU, General Secretary of "European Friends of Armenia" (EuFoA) NGO Michael Kambeck stated in Yerevan today.
Mediamax reports that speaking at "EU-Armenia: Are There Grounds for Progress in Euro-Integration Process" conference, Michael Kambeck expressed an opinion that after concluding the stage of internal reforms on elections to the European Parliament and changing the management of all EU structures, Europe will possess more means and opportunities to realize its commitments and goals within the framework of Eastern Partnership.
Senior Research Officer of EuFoA Sargis Kazaryan stated the importance of Sweden's Presidency in EU for Armenia, since it is one of the initiators of the Eastern Partnership.
The Conference is organized by "International Center for Human Development" Public organization at the support of "European Friends of Armenia" NGO, Yerevan Office of "British Council" and Migration Agency of Armenia's Ministry of Territorial Administration.
